Nelumbo Design was started by Reshma Patel in 2009. She has been in the Multimedia field since 2005, having a vast skill set from web and graphic design through to video editing and photography.

"Since the age of 14 I have been exploring my keen interest in design, I started off gathering photographic skills and then ventured out into digital photo manipulation to create art works, this was my launch pad into the digital world which then landed me in the web and graphic sector. Unlike many web programmers, my experience in imaging combined with my knowledge of current technology means I can design both functional and aesthetic websites and products."

"Studying at Nottingham Trent Univerisity, renowned for design and technology based courses, I was provided with the tools to excel in skill set and explore mediums such as video editing, corporate identity design, sound editing, advertising and 3D animation, as well as the theory behind these and the impact they have on the world today."

"After completing my degree, in June 2008 I started as Internet Services Coordinator at Tickets.com, a world leading provider of ticketing software, at the EMEA HQ in Milton Keynes. From 2nd line Support, website design and reskins, through to organising and managing large scale on sales for a variety of large sports clubs and visitor attractions, I proved my skills and in April 2010 I was promoted to Senior Internet Services Specialist."
